Carjacking Outside Pennsylvania Mosque Leaves Man Dead: Report

A 65-year-old man was shot dead outside of an Upper Darby mosque late on Sunday evening, Oct. 29, 6abc reports.

It happened near the Masjid Al Madinah Upper Darby Islamic Center around 7:45 p.m., according to the outlet.

The victim, identified by loved ones as Mahabub Rahaman, was shot by armed carjackers during an attempted robbery, 6abc wrote. Upper Darby police said they remained on the scene until 2 a.m.
